Requirements:
A computer running Windows (only tested on WinXP)
with Titan Quest (www.titanquestgame.com) installed.

Introduction:SPOILER (click to view)This program is my attempt at an easy to use muling application for the
Titan Quest game.

Installation and IMPORTANT information
1. Backup:
Remember that this software is in no way affiliated with Iron Lore, and there
is no guarantee that the program handles the saved games correctly. So you
should back up your saved games frequently.
2. Installation:
Unzip the content into a new folder somewhere on your computer. Be sure to
keep the original folder structure intact.
Patch Titan Quest using TQ Defiler's "Patch Titan Quest" feature by SoulSeekkor
- do this while Titan Quest is NOT running.
This is very important for the saved characters to work with Titan Quest.
3. Operation:
Run TQChest.exe to start.

Story so far:
This program started as a mule for an entirely (well not so much entirely)
different game, Diablo II. I got it to work pretty nicely, but could never
quite finish it so it was never released. I also kinda lost interrest
because by that time, the game was a little out of date (fall 2003).
Now Titan Quest comes along, my favorite game since Diablo II, and it's
like I now have a new chance to finish something I have wanted to do a
long time ago
The program is written in Delphi 7. I've been working on it since soon after
TQ was released and will be for as long as I'm happy doing it and people keep
playing the game!
Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I would like, sometimes only few
hours in a week, but if there is popular demand for certain fixes/requests
then I will definately try give this more time!
Also, I will release the source code when it's out of beta.

Things to do
There are tons of things I'd like to add, and I will if given time, please
be patient.
Most notably are listings of item's magical properties and some character
details.
There is so much that can be added or refined, I will write up and maintain
this list after I get a little more work done.
If there are things that you consider "a must have" then write me a line.
Even if it's really obvious, I would like to know what features are most
needed as I need to prioritise these requests.
Of course if you are having difficulties getting things working, then fixing
that will be my top priority!
Things to come:
- Finish magical properties.
- More language support.
- Check for and warn if TQ is allready running.
- Settings window:
- Open last character/chest on startup.
- Warn if TQ is running.
- Fancy icon for TQChest (help appreciated *wink wink*)
- Shortcut keys.
Things to hope for:
- Figure out correct values of magical props.
- Character properties with added bonuses.

Known issues/problems:
== Magical Properties ==
I have started on listing magical properties of items. I've only scratched
the surface of the properties available in TQ but I tried to include the
ones that are most common.
Another thing is that the properties are not 100% accurate. They are listed
directly from the files that the actual items are generated from and I have
not yet figured out how to include the "jitter" variance that appears when
items are generated.
To explain this better:
When TQ generates an item, it uses a "recipie" for that item taken from
various files (base, prefix, suffix files). But to make items of same type
different from each other, all the properties are randomized by a certain
"jitter" factor using a magical "seed" as a starting point. I have tried
for some time but still don't know how this works exactly, and sadly, there
are almost endless possibilities as to how this could work.
So an item could show up in TQChest as "+10 Strength" even though it should
be "+12 Strength".
The difference is usually not that great so this helps in identifying what
items you are carrying.
The only "serious" flaw I noticed was an item with "+2.0 Health Regeneration
per second" that showed up as "+1.0 Health..." so keep this in mind.
== Blue/Purple item reqs ==
Requirements for blue and purple items is not always correct. This is because
some requirements are calculated with "number of magical attributes" as a
factor. This factor is not fully counted for because not all magical
attributes are detected/supported yet. This will correct it self when I finish
the work on magical properties
== Weapon switcharoo ==
If you save your game in Titan Quest while weilding your alternate weapons
and then modify the character using TQChest then the items in alternate
slots will switch with the primary weapons.
